Join the Older Adults’ Equity Collaborative (OAEC) for their webinar highlighting innovative programming that fosters social connection. The OAEC includes five ACL-funded national Minority Aging Technical Assistance and Resource Centers (TARCs) that each focus on serving a unique community. Together, they work to ensure access and equity across aging services programs by providing technical assistance to the aging services network.

This June’s EJCC meeting will include a retrospective review and celebration of the accomplishments of the EJCC member agencies and departments and recognize a few federal leaders who have been instrumental in advancing knowledge and policies on the issue of elder justice. The meeting also will provide a look ahead to the EJCC’s future directions and commitments for the next decade.

Last week, ACL announced a final rule to establish the first federal regulations for Adult Protective Services (APS). The new regulations promote high quality APS and will improve consistency in services across states. With the final rule, ACL aims to support the national network that delivers APS with the ultimate goal of better meeting the needs of adults who experience, or are at risk of, maltreatment and self-neglect.
