Preparedness Helps Protect Older Adults
During Emergencies and Disasters

The Administration on Aging (AoA) held a successful Webinar series on "Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Assistance" during June 2007 to learn from Federal, State, Tribal, and local leaders about what each of us can do to be ready in the event of an emergency or disaster. Hundreds of representatives from the national aging services network, including many first responders, participated in each of the sessions of the series. In addition, many State, Tribal, community leaders and planners met in groups all over the country to participate in the AoA Webinars and continue their own discussions and plans in the event of a future emergency or disaster.

The Power Point presentations from all of the speakers during the Webinar series are available for viewing and downloading below. If you would like to view the sessions, they are available online at www.meetingbridge.com/aoa
