HHS Announces Historic Partnership to Increase Volunteerism Among Baby Boomers and Older Americans

HHS Assistant Secretary for Aging Josefina G. Carbonell will deliver keynote remarks at a Naturalization Ceremony to welcome 3,000 persons to the United States being naturalized as American citizens.

The Older Americans Act Amendments of 2006 call for greater coordination and increased focus on volunteerism and civic engagement.
